Scan through an AR-coated object: responses of coatings and substrate in one plot. The bulk absorption calibration is used for the plot. To get absorption in the coatings surface calibration should be applied to AR-coatings spikes.

Time dependence of absorption:
- recording started at some point in space,
- after 20 s object moved by 0.1 mm to a fresh point,
- recording continued to reveal the time-dependent absorption response.

New lock-in amplifier option added to the PCI design, Anfatec USB LockIn 250.
New update of PCI software, version 7.7.1 is released that supports the Anfatec lock-in amplifier. You can get this version at the Download page.
Anfatec USB LockIn has better, 20-bit, ADC to remove the need of sensitivity range adjustments.
Sizewise this lock-in is much more compact than any SRS model used before.
The Anfatec lock-in goes with a TIA (transimpedance amplifier) and DC signal voltmeter. Here the Thorlabs TIA, model AMP-110, and our 20-bit USB voltmeter are shown side-by-side with Anfatec.
